Congratulations on your pregnancy! Welcoming a newborn baby into the family is one of the happiest and most exciting time in your life.
These days it's really essential to do your homework when looking for a newborn photographer, especially with so many new photographers popping up and offering newborn photography services after photographing a baby or two. If quality and safety are important to you, someone with experience and specialized training is something you need.
When Should You Book Your Session?
I recommend booking your session in advance, as soon as it is convenient for you. If you are in your second trimester, it is the perfect time to book.
I only book a small number of newborns per month. These spots fill quickly, and I cannot guarantee any last-minute openings. Once booked, you are guaranteed priority dates for when your baby arrives, regardless of if your baby arrives early, on-time, or late.
What Do You Need To Bring?
Your session is completely customized for you, and I provide absolutely everything. The moment you walk through the door of my studio, I take care of the rest. Designed with your comfort in mind, my studio provides you and your family with a comfortable area to relax and enjoy your session. Complete with a comfortable couch, snacks, water, and a fully-stocked diaper changing area you won't have to worry about forgetting anything at home.
High end props, wraps, bonnets and headbands are all provided! A complete stress free with tons of options at your fingertips.

- How do I book my newborn session?
Everything starts with a conversation - I will personally give you all the information you need, from what to expect before, during and after your session and what it will cost.
- When is the best time to book a newborn session?
If you are in your second trimester, it is the perfect time to book your newborn session. Only a few newborns are booked per month; these spots tend to fill quickly. On occasion, there may be a last-minute spot available but this is not guaranteed.
- When is the best time to have my baby's photos done?
The best time to have your baby's photos done is within those first 5-20 days of life. Upon booking, your due date acts as your tentative booking. Once your baby arrives, we will schedule your baby's session according to their age. It may seem like this is early, but babies cooperate and do quite well during their sessions while they are still very fresh.
- Where are newborn sessions shot?
All of my newborn sessions take place in my Clarksburg, MD studio. It has absolutely everything you and your baby will need during your session, so you can relax and enjoy this experience completely stress-free. As of April/May 2021 the studio will be located in La Plata, MD
