Congratulations on your new addition! capturing these moments allow you to hold onto these memories for years to come.   

How newborn sessions work… 

NOW:  You choose the session type that fits your family best & you then submit your retainer. Doing so, gets your due date on my session calendar and guarantees your newborn session.  

 Once you deliver (no matter if early or late) we set your session date.  Sessions are done within the first 14 days in my Clarksburg, MD studio during WEEKDAY mornings. (age adjustments are made for preemies & NICU babies)

WHEN YOU DELIVER:  You shoot me an email or text (within 48ish hours please) & we set your session date YAY! You'll also receive a session questionnaire so we can fully customize your session.

Sending a picture of the baby also allows me to start to coordinate what colors would look best! 

A FEW DAYS BEFORE YOUR SESSION: you’ll receive an email with session prep info to help you best prepare for a successful session. 
 

SESSION DAY: sit back, relax and enjoy the show.  Parents LOVE to watch the amazing art of newborn portraiture.   Naps are ok too ;)

 My studio is filled with everything that is needed in the session such as props, wraps, bonnets and more. All of my props and looks are purchased from the best in the newborn industry to provide the best images of your little one. 

 AFTER YOUR SESSION: Sneak peeks are posted (if desired). 

 THEN: Within two-three weeks after your session you’ll receive your proofing gallery. These are slightly edited images (lighting mainly) where you will select your images. 

Finally: Once you have made your selections, your images are hand edited and your products are customized with your selections.
